Stashbusting
Week 19—-May 4-9, 2009
It’s been a good week……..I didn’t buy anything. I did start working on the kit from last week…….since I don’t count until the top is completed, I have nothing used.
My report for this week remains the same.
Week 18–April 27-May 3, 2009
This kit came to live at my house this week……I’m such a sucker for handdyed fabrics. When completed it will look great in my living room and since I only have one quilt for this one spot ….having a second quilt to hang there will be great.
This quilt is from Nancy Rink Designs. This photo is courtsey of the designer. Be sure to check her designs out as she has several very nice design.

Week 14—-March 29- April 4, 2009
I have done some sewing this week, I made this, does one get to count this as stash used…….well, I’m not sure, I’ve been saving these for awhile, so maybe I’ll just cound the half yard used for the lining on the inside.

I love the “Today’s Thought”. And good using up your fabric this week!! Good luck winning the scissors!! Let your light shine!!!
Brenda, my goal is to use up as much of my stash (very small one actually) as possible in 2009. I feel very good vibes about the sissors……but then I had the same vibes when I bought my lottery ticket last week and I didn’t win!!! Karen
great job on this week’s report.
Sometimes life just makes it a bit hard to sew!
Love the bag! Glad you made it through the flooding okay. Hope this latest snow doesn’t throw another monkey wrench your way!
Belly deep on a long legged dog–good description. And to think I was planning on getting the camper out of storage and cleaning it. We have a border collie, and she drug her bellie thru the snow too!! She does not LIKE snow on her tushie!
8 bindings–wow! I like to do binding, but it makes my arm and hand ache and swell. And I’m not lining up for the carpal tunnel surgery! No time right now!
Lori, These were bindings for my client quilts, I only do the machine part so no carpal tunnel for me. But I do have 3 quilts of my own that need the hand sewing part. Karen
